hey ho!!

today, i attended the junior band concert at ACJC and i was so very glad i went :) it was really great, seeing everyone and being thrown back into the past :) the most heartwarming thing was seeing how everyone had matured and grown up. it makes me feel so old :D

i really owe GM big time. it really played a big role into shaping the person i am today :D loud, noisy, nonsensical. its the only place i feel at home and at ease. i miss the times i was there, and i miss all the fun and laughter i had there with my friends.

school's just a drag now. so demoralising and depressing. so darn annoying and stressful. i'm not studying nor am i relaxing. there's this constant arghh feeling in me and its just so darn _____. i dont even have a word to describe it. there's no homey feeling and all i feel is competition and more competition. screw this man. i hate it. :(

other than the fact that they came in when we were cleaning instruments and that we werent prepared for them, it was coool :D

the Polish are very friendly people! and i cant get over how much more mature they look! its hard to look at that 20 yr old plus face and know that the person you are looking at could be your age or even younger!

hello world!!!

today, a scandinavian band came to our school to perform and whooo there were hot guys!! yesterday, tim and shawn goh came over to decorate bro's room hahaha! out for dinner at F.I.S.H after that and thank you tim for the birthday treat!! :D

got my birthday present from my family early this year, and guess what they bought me??

hahaa its an ipod touchh!!! wheee!!!! THANK YOU MUM, BRO AND DAD! :D bro was being such an awesome brother. he told me, "elissa, you can use my bank account to buy any apps you want" :D thanks bro :D love you lots! :D i have yet to get you a present :O

tomorrow is NDP celebrations! it feels very wierd this year :( for the past four years of my life, NDP has always been an exciting event for me. i will wake up early in the morning, reach school even before the sun rises and sit with my fellow band mates to play marches for the contingents:D last year, i even got join them and march! the great anticipation and excitement in the morning was really awesome.

SEE!! it was so fun :( but this year.. i dont know. i dont feel any excitement :( sigh. okay except for the fact that i'm going back to GM with all the rest :D GM really still is the best! :D:D

ended my last paper and went off with Glenda, Kevin, Terry, Emmanuel and Haonan to ehub for food and bowling! :D Elissa never bowled before in her life okay, and this was her first time and so she naturally sucked at it because she cannot throw the ball straight :O and it resulted in a score of

the touch screen had problems so our names were quite screwed. only emmanuel managed to type his name properly haha. so P= Haonan , GOOLY = Glenda, VGO 0= Elissa, RTSJ = Terry and TERRT = Kevin. and so you can see that Elissa really sucked :D but its forgivable! it WAS her first time :D

met Pearlyn in the evening at dhoby to watch Knight and Day! the show was funny at times but i find it quite unrealistic at some scenes. i still like Toy Story 3 more hehe :D had Astons for dinner and went to One Caramel for supper!!

this desert here is worth more than my Astons main course meal but its good :D had the urge to have chocolate but whoo i was totally overwhlemed. the chocolate was good to the point that it was too much. i was suprised i didnt get a sore throat after eating that haha :D but i had a great time:D whee

Brother's POP day!! my brother looked really cute marching around hee :D i bet he's happy that the whole family, including my dad, went to see him hehe. oh and not forgetting Andrea, James and Clara too! brother was a happy boy :D but waaa after the parade, the smell was terrible :( all the rest of the army guys were surrounded by the smell of perspiration and it was a torture to breathe :(

went to meet Jolene, Marvyn and Weishin to cycle after my brother's parade. we didnt get to cycle much because it started pouring 5 minutes after we rented the bike. went to the nearest coffee shop and had lunch. waited for the rain to stop but after awhile we gave up and just cycled in the rain :D it was damnn fun!!!! we were drenched but it was an awesome ride hehe. Rain, i still love you :D

went to orchard at night to celebrate Chesna's birthday after that:D it was great to see all those who went :D i miss GM and all the crazy people there :( it was really an enjoyable night :D

watched the Germany-Argentina match at Kevin Khoo's house with brother, Tim, Mel and her sis and dad :) the trip to Kevin's house was @#!@#!@ but ahh i guess the match made up for it:D i didnt really support any country unlike Mel hahaa. she supported Argentina and whoo she just emo-ed after the match hahaa:D we had to play some wii shooting game so she can make herself happier haha :D

and so my long weekend ends here! :( there's school tmr and the thought of going back is just so annoying :( and not only that, i have 4 reading logs due tmr! time to get back to earth :(

you know sometimes i really wish there are 8 days in a week, and weekends are 3 days instead of two :) life would be so much better. on mondays, i look forward to wednesdays because of the short day in school. when wednesday comes, i'll look forward to friday because i know half the week is already gone. on friday i'm happy because the weekends are here :)

and i've been sleeping at 1am plus every night nowadays and amazingly my body is getting quite used to it :o although i do get super sleepy after lunch everyday haha.

ELISSA HAD A VERY BAD DAY IN SCHOOL TODAY :(

*pulls hair*

1) she cant do Chemistry for nuts

2) Biology practical was chaotic because she misread her instructions and was being unusually clumsy

3) Math CA1 was a total disaster and she's gonna fail

4) she have to redo her entire PI which is due next week

5) her homework is piling up like the Himalayas

6) she has to prepare for a fcuking debate tomorrow which is a complete waste of her time

i have something i have to say and that is I HATE CHINESE :( its the main reason why i dislike thursdays. 1hr 30min of chinese in the afternoon is NOT fun. especially when you have a bunch irritating and noisy guys in your class who annoys the shit out of you. and on top of that, today's chinese lesson was exceptionally unbearable without huiqing and that rachel :(

but on the brighter side, today was a super amusing day hahahaa!! chatting with rosy, jing jing and glenda was really hilarious heh. looks are really deceiving sometimes hhahaaa!!! never judge a book by its cover man heh.

i feel really mean to many people nowadays. i dont know why i get the feeling i'm pissing everyone off with my words and actions. maybe i'm just being paranoid because i have a thousand and one things in my head and my whole march holiday is like packed to the max.i dont like it, i'm tired and i'm barely coping. but then again, i somehow feel like i brought it all onto myself. so there's no reason to be whining elissa. stop being such a baby.

'why do you volunteer to do so many stupid things and make yourself so busy? you think you very free is it?' brother asked.

i was stunned and i dont know how to answer him. yes elissa lim, why the hell did you volunteer yourself for so many things huh. you think you're superwoman is it? crap man. i totally deserve all the stress and what-nots. and yes, i'm straying away from many many things. God bring me back. just grab me where ever i am now and bring me back.

moving on to happier things, had JC1 camp in school and VBC! the JC1 camp was not a very well planned camp, but still i'm grateful for the opportunity to know my classmates better and spend more time with them :) they truly are the highlights of the camp :) go go 10S07!!

yepp :D VBC was great too! i was really touched by the kid's worship to the Lord! i hope You enjoyed it Lord! though i did felt that i could have done more to help clara since i'm the vice-chairman. but it was a great learning experience for me! i will definitely do a better job in future!!!

i should give a proper update eh :D

its already 6 days into the month of march and 5 days before the jc1 camp? gee its pretty fast eh. but at the same time i feel that the weeks are really long.. i look forward to the weekends so much and i love it when its friday because it marks the end of the week!

i remember last year my brother told me that some jc1s in the school cried because they were stressed. i rolled my eyes then but now i realise how arrogant and ignorant i was. of cos i didnt cry in school or anything close to that, but i do feel the stress. :( and of cos the terrible weather now doesnt help me at all. have you seen how the all grass dried up?! they're all brown now. and i swear the school is doing the same thing to me.

i do look forward to band though. music calms me down and i find it relaxing to just sit there and play :) thank God for the saxophone :) but maybe i should be friendlier now. :( my brother said that my seniors told him that i looked dao thats why they never talk to me :( I WAS SO SHOCKED AND SAD WHEN I HEARD THAT OKAYY! no one said that about elissa lim before :( oh well. i realise how much i dislike having to make new friends now. i used to think i was friendly and i could make friends easily. i guess i was wrong about myself.

college road run day!!

i've found my running partner for my pft 2.4km and whoots! she's GLENDA YAP XIN! we ran together today and we hardly stopped! well except for the back part haha. the run was pretty good and the only reason i'm not actually walking is because i dont wanna grow horizontally :)

the sun was scorching hot though. the prize presentation part was like hell because we were all sitting on the ground, facing the blazing sun and being toasted at the same time while the teachers and people in charge of giving out prizes are sitting under a nice shady tent on chairs that do not burn their butts. and they still had the cheek to actually fan themselves! but oh wells we're all human anyway and life aint fair.

i should make the best of every day.

HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR!!

heh the past 2 days has been really great :D spent time with my cousins and had fun gambling :D but hey dont be mistaken! i'm not a compulsive gambler okay. its just something my family does every chinese new year :D and its not about where you win or lose (though it still matters. hey we kids dont have much money!) but more about the screaming and shouting of your relatives everytime you lose a bet (when playing in between) or having ban lak when you play Black Jack. HAHA! which ever the case i feel the warmth of my family when we get together and play games like that :D its only during times like these where i agree gambling is good for the family :D

i wanted to write that i've started to adapt to JC life after 11 days in TPJC but it didnt seem right when i typed it out so i decided not to say it. i guess i still need more time.

first day back to school with my CG was a scary scary experience for me :( who would have thought the crazy and supposedly 'outspoken and friendly' Elissa Lim would be scared and afraid to go back to school and face a class of people whom she doesnt know and thought would be unfriendly. i was freaking out silently on sunday night and asking Jeslin things like 'what if no one wants to partner me for pe?' haha yea i surprise myself sometimes. i guess i dont adapt to new things as fast i think i do. but thank God for Jeslin :) she really knows how to make me feel better :D haha THANKS JESLIN :D

hha but anyway, my CG was actually quite nice :) i was being all nonsensical the whole day in an effort to make people talk and avoid awkward silences so yea haha. i think i amused a lot of people anyway. but i did get real tired after that haha. i hope we will all open up and be hyper soon :) and a BIG THANK YOU to Janice, Gillian, Anne, Ethel, Siew Jean, Xinyi, Kaede, You Liang and Zhi Jun for giving me encouragement or making me laugh when i was being all emo and upset about having to go back to school!! :D thanks peoples!!! :D

oh and its friendship week in TPJC now! you know i think it would really be fun if it was held like later in the year when people are closer to each other! now its not.. shall we say celebrated to the max?? i think it only applies to the J1s bah cos we're like still new to each other :D but i felt it was a great idea :) like yesterday was 'Leave A Mark Day' where ppl get to write on each other's hands about how much they treasure them or etc. i think it cool :D and today was like 'Snap and Tag Day' where you can take pictures with your friends and share it with the school etc. :D its quite cool. though i didnt really take any photos today except for this one with pearlie :D and btw, our uniform is NOT blue :D its green!

and she damn nice lah! i was waiting to buy my prawn mee and she just went like 'come elissa we take picture' :) my first new friend in TPJC wahah :D but of cos if we had this Friendship Week thing in GM we would have gone all crazy and i definitely wont have just this one picture :D but its still better than none :D THANKS PEARLIE :D

today was a day of many events.

and hence this will be a ranting post!!!

wore the tpjc uniform to school today :) on thursday, i planned to wear it today because i had plans to visit GM in the afternoon after school. however i was called up yesterday while having lunch with the GM/TPJC people and junie and was told that there was band today so i cancelled my trip back to GM and wearing the uniform today. HOWEVER i forgot to inform poor Ethel that i'm not wearing the uniform anymore and she ended up wearing it to school. so i decided to wear it in the end because i'll feel guilty if i dont. :) yep and i look OLD in the uniform. anne says i even look like a J2 :x dunno if thats supposed to be a compliment.

anywayyy the day started with morning assembly and bio lecture after that :) gee i love bio :) and after lecture, it was bonding time with my OG! we (me, Zhi Jun, Kaede, Kenneth, You Liang, Leon, Muan Ting, Jia Hui and Maisarah) played cards again :) games played were mainly Old Maid (Queen in this case) and Cheat :D it was fun and we made the losers pose like the Queen on the card :) yep we had to stop playing after a while because a teacher came and told us that we cant play cards. so... we switched to HAND GAMES! :D was quite funny haha :) there's this particular game that was really fun :) its called the chicken game and one of the things you have to do is go POKAYYY!! like a chicken :D so it was really hilarious cos everyone's version of POKAYY was different :D yepp and we had an OG gathering after classes too :) took pictures and chit chatted :)

yea so all those are the happy things that happened todayyy. moving on to the not so happy ones. my Civics Group (CG) is 10S07. apparently everyone there takes bio, and well according to everyone's goal after the A levels, i dont think its a class that will go crazy like F4-2 :( the class is pretty even. half girls half guys. there are like 4 guys who take 4 H2s and if i remember correctly half the guys come from Victoria School. was quite depressed after the CME period with the CG. sighs i hope i can make new friends soon. its damn irritating because i've just gotten closer to my OG and everyone opened up le. sighs.

ohh and band was good :D i missed my saxophone so :D Kenny (my president cum SL) is nicee :) and i got my alto!!! haha he couldnt find a tenor ligature for me so wheeee :D into alto i go! :D ehh but who knows he may change again :x but anyway :D i like the band :D and i love the challenging pieces :D heh :D looking forward to the next practice :)

lesson learnt today : OPTIMISM WAS GOOD

haha :D today wasnt a bad day :D it was quite good actually hehe. we had a make up of the Study Skills lecture we missed yesterday from 10am to 11.15am. it was quite stupid because i didnt like the methods they introduced us. the mind mapping made me confused and i think it takes up a lot of time to draw one. but on the good side it helped to kill time :D

played dai di and cheat with my OG after the lecture!! cheat was damn fun :D heh we're gonna play it tmr again :D i'm starting to like my OG a lot :D sadly most of them wont be in the same class as me :( except maybe Zhi Jun.. :D

Econs lecture after that and yay we finally had an actual lesson :) but i think my brain is not used to thinking fast cos it took time to process the many information thrown at us and the pace of the lecture was quite fast! oh and i realised, if you dont read your lecture notes before the lecture in future, you will die during the lecture. well that applies to me but i'm not sure of the others. i didnt know what the notes have and what they dont. i ended up copying quite alot of repeated stuff. but oh wells :D and we had homework! haha :D i'm like some crazy, irrational person because i'm quite happy to have received homework LOL! but i know this mentality wont last long.

haha! tampines 1, tampines mall and century square is gonna be our new hangout place! :D

i've started school!

okay despite all the mental preparation and my brother's reminders, i'm still quite freaked out over the jump from O levels to A levels :( orientation in TPJC is quite different from the orientation in other JCs. we dont have any orientation games and we start lectures next monday. sounds really sad right? but we do have an orientation camp in march so i guess it makes up for the lack of fun in the orientation now. but of cos the orientation wasnt all serious talks (although there were a reasonable amount of them). we learnt the college song, cheer and did a mass dance so it was quite fun in that way :) the college song sounds eerie the first time you hear it but after that you start to like it :) haha i think the same goes with the school itself bahh :)

the subject talks were actually quite discouraging and after hearing them, i realised i was playing a different ball game altogether man. although biology was an exception because i was quite inspired to start studying after the talk hhaa! the teachers seem to be asking people not to take their subject rather than trying to promote them. haha but to a certain extent i think its quite good cos well, they make people think carefully and consider their strengths and abilities before choosing the subject rather than just picking the subject because they like it. so yep :)

i've made a few friends in my orientation group (OG) :D most of them are people whom i just talked to today :) on the first day i only talked to a few malay girls cos they are friendly. second day i made more friends while waiting for our turn during choir auditions haha :D there were this 2 girls from tkgs called Sharifah and Hanisa (i like to call her honey star hee) and they were really nice and talk-able haha :D there was this half jap girl called Kaede (pronounced ka-e-day) and i kept calling her ka-e-da instead because you know, Al Qaeda the terrorist group? hahaha :D i told her that and i kinda influenced other ppl to call her Kaeda s well haha! there's Jacqueline, Zhi Shu, Wai Teng and some more other ppl whose names i cannot remember haa :) and notice they are all girls because the guys in my group are all anti-socials and stick only to people of the same gender. oh and my orientation group leaders (OGLs) are nice :) there's Pearlie, Valerie and Vicknesh. i dont talk to Vicknesh because he only talks to guys and i talk to Pearlie the most haha :) she's easy to talk with and is really nice, straight forward and quite like me. :) next week will be filled with lectures and breaks (there are more breaks than lectures) so hopefully i can get to know more ppl from my OG:) theres like 30 ppl! say hi to the GM girls in TPJC :)

i really hope i can adapt to JC life soon. feeling sad and scared of everything. and lessons havent even officially started also. sighs.

okay was blog hopping around reading blogs of some people i havent talked to for a whilee. haha realised i'm pretty much in a world of my own >.<

sometimes i really wonder what are the plans God have for me. when i dont know how to deal with certain situations and i always close my eyes and just allow myself to be led. at times things feel like they are going as they should be, that i'm on the right path. but some times again i feel like i'm losing my way and everything that felt right seems so wrong now. i think i'm okay but then i realise i'm not. sighs but then again if there are no uncertainties in life, how will there be faith right?

times like these i wish that God will just come down and give me a great big hug and tell me everything will be okay :(

exactly one week before posting results come out, which means i'm going to start school soon!! and i kinda miss school actually haha :D

been going to the student care to help out recently and gee being with kids the whole afternoon trying to make them finish up their homework is tiring! i really miss aunty cindy :( cos when she's around, there is order and its so much easier to tell the kids "hey! do your homework or i will send you to aunty cindy!!" and after that you'll see them scooting off to do their homework.

oh and being with these primary school kids so often constantly reminds me how low my standard of chinese is :( its so embarrassing when a kid comes up to you to ask you how to write this certain word and you have to go "oh give me a moment while i check my phone dictionary" or even when you are giving chinese dictation to a kid from the spelling list, which by the way doesnt have hanyu pinyin, and have to sneak off halfway to ask someone else how to read that certain word. and its like primary school spelling!! and these kids constantly reminds you that you are 17 yrs old this year and just graduated from secondary school which is like 'WOW' to them. :( why didnt i put in more effort for chinese last time?

but then again, seeing these kids in student care made me really glad that my mum DIDNT put me in one when i was young. like seriously. after school, most kids would go home and take a nice afternoon nap after lunch or play a bit of computer games and just relax right? (well thats what i did). but for these kids, its a big no no. after school they go back to the childcare centre to do homework. and after homework, they have to do assessment books and after that they have to write journals and do book reviews before they can play. if you think about it, doing all those will actually take up your whole afternoon already!!! so i dont really blame them for wanting to play. poor kids.

i'm going to the student care early tmr because the other teachers are on leave!! lets hope i dont die of exhaustion yea? :D

i'm tired today!

went for CCA fair to help/extra/have fun/make noise :D this year there are no auditions (sadd) and parents are present. i gotta say the school's CCA fair this year was quite a noisy and fun event :D except for the fact that band was located far away from the central area and everything was overrun. but with CCAs going around making a lot of noise and screaming their heads off while carrying big banners as if they are going for war, the whole school seemed much more lively and there was a great atmosphere :D so yea i kinda enjoyed it :) but the response from the sec1s are a different thing of cos heh.

VBS meeting after the fair and it was a good meeting :D God bless this camp!!

went home and realised i forgot to bring my keys out again :( so i headed over to grandma's place to take a nap and eat dinner :D now i have to prepare for tmr's lesson :( talk about last minute!!

i am currently locking myself in my room so as to avoid joining my brother and mother watching 家好月圓 because while i was out cycling today, mum ~~probably finished maybe around 7 episodes and~~ FINISHED THE WHOLE SHOW AND IS AT THE LAST EPISODE NOW! so watching it now will totally spoil my whole show. and i feel like my room is an oven now because my fan is out in the living room keeping my mum and bro cooool. oh wells.

out cycling with janice and meimei today! dang my thighs are aching and hurting. but it was a pleasant ride :D by making Paddle Pop Ice Jelly/any other ice cream (for janice and meimei) at the pitstop located at the beginning of changi beach our goal, we cycled there and back in about 2hrs!! whoots!! i found it much more relaxing than cycling with bro and tim ong! cos those lunatic guys go soooo fast i have difficulty catching up. but cycling with meimei and janice was nice and comfortable because we're all girls :D and we DO NOT go at the speed of those guys :D so yay yay! but still my thighs hurt after the ride :(

results are out next monday!!! which is 5 freaking days later!!! AHHHH!!! okay i know i said i dont mind knowing my results earlier but... I'M NOT READY TO TAKE IT NOW!!! but truthfully even if i'm collecting my results 3 months later i'll still say the same thing nearer the collection date.

and my mind is starting to become too imaginative for its own good now :( scenes of the hall with people collecting results are flooding my mind every few minutes. flashbacks of the time i was taking my papers accompany those thoughts and and.. thoughts that i think i will think about in 5 days are appearing in my head when they are not supposed to be there!! NOOOO!! think i'll have a mental breakdown soon if i keep going on like that.. WAAAAHHHH.

on the brighter side, i've decided to help aunty cindy at her child care centre for awhile so that she can have her well deserved break :) and aunty cindy's been a real sweetie cos she's paying me and janice $5 per hour for helping out :) its not much but i feel more comfortable working for her and well since i'm dealing with kids, i'll love it :D so yay!! God provides!!!

LAST SUNDAY OF THE YEAR?!

hmm it didnt occur to me today was the last sunday of the YEAR. which means 2009 is coming to an end, and the O level results are coming pretty soon! dont really know what to feel though. it feels surreal cos this year seemed to pass by so fast. it felt like it was just yesterday when i was thinking about how i will pull through the Os and feeling all apprehensive about the whole coming year. pretty scaryy!

then again, i've learnt a lot this whole year and opened up more towards other people too :) i've learnt more about different people i normally wouldnt might have the chance to know through study sessions like chesna, youjin, camillia, siewleng, yingtian. anne is still the same :) though a bit more crazyy now:)

i've become a little bit more active in sports :D actually its just netball :) those games we had in the quadrangle in the afternoons with anne, rachel, junie, huiqing, stella, li ying, karen, siewleng, ain and yanfang were really great and enjoyable :)

i've grown to love my teachers more through their relentless efforts to help us achieve our goals and be the best we can be :)

i've been given an opportunity to lead a great band through SYF and be proud of my juniors :)

i've learnt ways to communicate more with kids as a teacher myself :)

i've learnt to be more patient in many areas of my life, and of cos to have more faith in my Daddy in heaven :)

i've also learnt to persevere in times of difficulty and tell myself to go on no matter what :)

i've really been blessed greatly by God with a great family, great friends, great church, and a great life. of cos there were many ups and downs but hey where's the meaning of life if everything is the same right? how will we be thankful for what we have without having experienced what it was like without them?

i'm glad i can say that 2009 has been a very meaningful and fruitful year and i thank God for it :D

i am officially using my desktop again 6 months after installing it in my room :) went to the IT fair after camp meeting with charis and bought my wireless adaptor and a two new earpieces which i got at the price of one :D currently trying to get used to the sudden increase of screen size and decrease of font size. hmm but i'm sure i'll get used to it pretty soon i am sure :D

i'm a happy happy girl today because i got my FIRST pay yesterday!!!! YAYYEEE!! i wont be going back to subtle sense to work anymore though because we've finished what we're supposed to do and pearlyn and hazel ended their internship there yesterday :) working there has been a really good experience for me :D heh now i understand why my mum says she's tired after work every day! and the people there are funny with interesting characters hee hee :D yep after work we went to manhatten to eat!! omg the food there is damnnn nice!!!! i love it!! :D wakaka. yep met up with aunty cindy and aunty dolly with pearlyn after dinner to eat shave ice :D hehe it was nice too!! hehee :D

i'm dead tired!!

went to watch 2012 with my dear study group ppls on tuesday, worked on wednesday, out with tim on thursday, band-ed and dinner with gillian, janice and shuxin today :)

2012 wasnt a bad show and its effects and animations were dammn good. storyline a bit dumb thoughh. they injected some humour into the show and i felt it was good in that sense :D earthquake scenes were great and thrilling but flood scenes reminded me of titanic :D had a good time with the study ppl! and heyy! we're going out again cos camillia was mia!! :D

wednesay was a bad bad day for me. lost my pouch with my ezlink, posb card, 40 bucks and some other cards. was in a terrible mood. work was actually quite okay except for the many many paper cuts i got.

thursday was errand day as i called it. finally cleaned up my messyy table and went out to make a new ezlink and my own posb card :D was happy when i saw how much money i had in the bank :D then it was dinner with tim at this really good jap restaurant that has really good ramen :D much nicer than ajisen :D

today was band in the morning till 3pm :) its been a long long time i had such a long practice. my lips were damn tired after the practice :D helping the band play this sunday for their performance :D band delayed and i rushed down to pasir ris to collect my ezlink card because i couldnt collect it the day before due to some issues they had with the system. rushed from pasir ris to church to meet up with gillian, janice and amandia to go to the pet hospital to see janice's dog Raul. poor raul is sick :( hope he gets well soon. and he is such a handsome dog :D shuxin came awhile after that and we headed to raffles hotel for dinner :D janice had discount card and dinner was good! walked around and high-ed a bit before going home :D

I'M A FREE WOMAN!!!!! YESSS!!!!

ended bio paper yesterday and me and huijun did a silent but big big YESSSS!!! on our way out of the hall. hahah jothem was even tearing his entry proof before the paper ended, dylan was folding paper aeroplane with it. me? i just crushed it and threw it to the bin :D FREEEE!!!

out with tim and mel to plaza sing for dinner :D had ajisen ramen wakkaa :D good good. :D wanted to catch 2012 but no more seats :( den mel had to go home so me and tim walked her to her bus stop near cathay. had ben and jerry's and went home :D was pretty fun actually :D its been some time since i was out till night NOT studying :D ahhh :D i'm loving it now :D hooked on playing pokemon again! hahaha! elissa is random :D

oh and i realised my job is just temporary and super boring from tim. hmmmm hopefully is not that bad? but anywayss. i can earn at least one week's worth of wages = $300 :D its still good money!! :D

i'm just 2 papers away from being free from Os :) but i'm behaving as though my Os are over haha. i must control myself! complacency kills! :)

anyway my poor brother is mugging his head off while his little sister is embarking on her road of freedom soon. hey brother!!! do your best but just leave everything to God!! and i mean EVERYTHING. He has his plans for you and He IS in control. yes A levels arent easy at all and they are not like the Os i've taken. but our Daddy in heaven is the same yesterday, today, tomorrow and the day after tomorrow and on and on! A levels are nothing to Him! so just leave everything to Him!! no matter what result You get, its obviously in His plan :D so my dear brother jiayou! and sleep early! :D

today is a paper free day!

i have one more week before Os end! dammn i cant wait. getting so sick of papers and i dont like my school's chief examiner. so irritating. it was SS and Chem paper yesterday. pissed off with SS paper. i did the wrong comparison for my second SBQ and i only realised it when i finish the whole question so i had to cancel and redo. thank God i still managed to finish my paper :) but Venice didnt come out for essay :( sadd.

oh and i'm never gonna stay up late before any papers again. was so super tired and cranky in the day. and at night i had a terrible headache. tskk. after this week it'll be just 2 mcq papers next week. i want them to come quuiicckkk!!!!! i have movies i wanna watch and i want to just lie at home and watch tv and not feel guilty about it! i wanna play pranks on people on thier birthdays and scare the daylights out of them! i dont want any more exams :(

today was a good day :)
thank God for being with me all the way :)

firstly during church,
my kids were so adorable and obedient :)
they made me so so happy
i forgot about my exams for that 2 hours:)
its such a joy teaching young children :D
love them to bits <33

after church,
studied in school with anne, camillia , chesna and youjin :)
i've been spending alot of time with them :)
just to tell you girls, you are all great study partners!!
every study session with you all has been fun and fulfilling :D
lets jiayou and do well for Os okay!!
then maybe we can go out and have FUN
instead of studying for a change after exams:D

anyway something very interesting happened todayy:)
it will stay as one of my most memorable secondary school memories:)
we were actually locked in school today
and we had to call mr chua, my tutor, to come and open the gate for us
while waiting for him, we decided to take pictures to keep as momento
so me and anne used our phones to support youjin's phone
on a yellow box so she can use it to take pictures :D
then mr chua came and open the gate for us :D
haha we were prisoners who were just released :D
and mr chua was super nice and fetched all of us to the MRT :)

it sucks when you are struggling with something

i didnt go online for the past two weeks!! haha i impress myself sometimes :D aiya but actually its mostly cos the laptop's in school and i'm too lazy to bring it home. i give myself too much credit haha!!!!

anywayy the prelims are here. had english paper yesterday and it wasnt good again. english papers are never good for me. and i still want an A1 for it. gosh.

teacher's day on monday!! i'm quite excited about it :D i just love how my class is just so enthusastic! well most of my class. but anywayy. we're gonna sing songs for our teachers on stage during the celebrations hehe. and we're the finale item! we totally medly 6 songs and changed the lyrics! haha still got actions some more. super cute! hahaha! after the rehearsal yesterday i went macs with rachel, karen, anne, junie, liying and siewleng to do a super big card for mdm eng. heh hope she likes it :D

gonna go pearlyn's house to bake a birthday cake for pearlyn with janice and shuxin later hehee. sounds super wierd right? but we dont have much of a choice cos there's no other place to bake cake haha. hopefully she doesnt know that the cake we're gonna give her the next day is the cake we baked in her house the day before. hhaa! but i think she'll know the moment she sees it haha. her reaction will be hilarious heh.

my last few hours of being 15yrs old :D

NDP was great and i really enjoyed it :D with such cute teachers and a wonderful class, its really hard not to have fun singing, taking photos, running up the stage and just being very high. even if the rest of the school are like unenthusiastic zombies. so it was great!!!

out with anne, siewleng, hui jun and xinyi after the celebrations to bugis/suntec. they bought a cute ballon that hit many many people and is floating above choo choo's head now :D thanks girls :D wanted to watch NC16 movie, Hangover, but apparently we werent lucky. me and siewleng underage. (i ONE day away from being 16 also cannot! rawr). but anyway we shopped around after that. den me, anne and siew leng went sakae and xinyi and huijun shopped some more at suntec. we were all damn tired after that man hahaa.

i'm very very thankful that i am able to start my first NDP here in GM with you, and also end it with you. also, i am proud to have been able to serve as major for this one year. not to mention being able to march with you in the parade for the first time after so many years. its a honour and priviledge and i thank God for it:) you've made my life in GM so colorful and i'm really gonna miss you. thank you for all the wonderful skills you've taught me, for all the valuable lessons you gave me, for the fun and laughter we had, for the wonderful people you've brought into my life and of cos, for just being part of me. without you i wont be the elissa lim i am today:) love you GM! you're the best!! :D

gee just when i have the mood to blog blogger have to be screwed. sheeshh

anywayy. mum's bday dinner was quite a success!! i have pictures! but i dont know if i can post them. i'll tryy. my hor fun is quite nice!! a bit dry though. but still kinda nice! :D bro made his cheese mushrooms and mashed potatoes :D but the potatoes werent soft enough due to the insufficient time we had to prepare. we did everything in less than 2 hrs! we were rushing like no one's business. but the food turn out quite good though :D mum loved it :D yay!

ohh and shuxin, janice, joyce and jaslin are such sweeties!!! they bought me the ariel lin album on sat hee. i was contemplating whether i should buy or not. den they went to buy for me la! hahaha! thanks girls!

mummy's birthday is in 3 days time! after school remedials and tests and tuitions i have NO time to buy a pressie for her :( so i'm just gonna share with bro :D was discussing with him on what to do/buy during english enrichment. decided that mum needed new, comfortable, easy-to-match and nice looking shoes/slippers/flats that she can wear to church :)

also decided that we are gonna make her dinner on that day :D which means i'm gonna either have to 1) skip remedial and go for tuition early so it will end early or 2) skip tuition and go home early to cook :) bro gonna make some nice mushrooms with cheese and he asked me to cook pasta for her. but i was thinking maybe i'll cook hor fan instead :) mum prefers chinese food. but... i have NEVER made hor fan before :( how?

hopefully it will look like this if i follow the recipe :( God help me.
